Stella Reflecting On Not Everyone Can Hold The Light
Stella Reflecting On Not Everyone Can Hold The Light

There’s something I need to say. Not just as a practitioner - but as a woman, a soul, and a human being.

I recently held a deeply powerful session with someone who reached out in pain, longing to feel safe, to be seen, to break free from old wounds.

I gave her my full presence. I offered everything I had; steadiness, skill, compassion. The session landed. It was, by all accounts, textbook.

But the next day, she asked to erase everything. Every trace.

And that’s when I was reminded - not everyone can hold the light.

No explanation. No processing. Just erasure.

It shook me.

Not because I did anything wrong - but because I did everything right. And still, it was too much.

Sometimes, the depth we offer threatens the parts of someone that are still armoured, still afraid, still tied to inherited fear or internalised prejudice. Sometimes, when a client says they’re ready to heal, what they really mean is: I want change, but only on my terms. I want control, not transformation.

It was a painful experience. But it gifted me with a deeper clarity - one I’m now committed to sharing publicly.

Identity, Integrity & Respect

I welcome all clients into this work with deep care, integrity, and mutual respect — regardless of background, culture, or belief.

My name is Stella Dove — legally, professionally, and personally. Any appearance of a former name (for example, in older email accounts or archived documents) is not a reflection of deception or concealment, but simply digital legacy. My current name reflects my truest self and is recognised in all formal records.

I do not centre my ethnicity, religion, or heritage in my work — but I do not erase them either.

If your healing requires a practitioner of a specific identity, I wholeheartedly support your choice to find someone aligned with that. I offer a space of safety, not sameness.

I work with clients of all faiths and none. What I will not tolerate is prejudice, covert or overt, based on culture, religion, gender, or orientation.

If you have questions about who I am or how I hold space, I welcome honest, respectful dialogue before we begin.

When Your Presence Is Too Much for Someone Else’s Fear - Not Everyone Can Hold The Light.

But know this: I am not here to prove my worth. I am here to offer truth. And not everyone is ready for that level of light.

But if you are — I will meet you there, fully.

Soothe your system and reconnect to your body and breath.
