The Oyster Club - Mother of Pearl

The Oyster Club - Mother of Pearl

A few years ago, I created The Oyster Club, a business and social networking club.

There were no rules, no badges; just bubbles, introductions and fun.

As the “Mother of Pearl “ I would impart “Pearls of Wisdom.”

I hosted fun events and facilitated introductions.

I gave speakers a platform to share their ideas.

The Seed Pearl Club was a business growth and development monthly breakfast meeting.

The Cultured Pearl Club featured art based gatherings.

The top level Black Pearl Club Membership was by invitation only.

Over 15 years on, many people are still connected professionally and personally because of The Oyster Club.

What few people know, is that I did it with no money, no experience and no contacts.

I didn’t have a Scooby. But I did it anyway.

I love a bit of JFDI.

There were times when I had four to six events scheduled in one month, each with a minimum spend demand, not one ticket sold and no money in the account.

Somehow, I made it work, every single time.

I ended up being invited to speak on networking, confident communication skills and mindset. I’m passionate about empowering people find their voice.

I’m an introverted extroverted highly sensitive person, so I’d much rather be at home than hosting parties. I just wore a great mask.

My work as a coach and healer prevents me from having time to organise such events these days, although I know a few people would dearly love an Oyster Club reunion.

All you need is a tiny bit of grit to create the miracle of a pearl.

Is there something you want to do? What’s stopping you?

Why not book a discovery call and explore what’s happening for you.
